We are a network of internet and media professionals devoted to using technology for change. We create Projects with impact; and publish Headlines of innovative people and organizations working for a better world.

Planetwize was founded in 2004 as a production company using live music as a vehicle to bring  awareness to social and environmental challenges around the world. In 2006 we entered the world of digital media, launching planetwize.com as the world’s first cause-related music download shop, supporting a nonprofit partner with every album. We soon began helping nonprofits and social-benefit companies leverage digital media to increase their impact and syndicate their stories across global media.

In 2009 Planetwize broadened it’s services and began producing web and technology projects for social and environmental organizations and companies. As the Planetwize consulting practice grew, we decided to spin off our cause-music platform into a standalone nonprofit brand. Actiontrax.org was released at the end of 2010, and continues to attract the attention of socially and environmentally conscious artists and music lovers around the world.
